Robotics is also a very fun thing to particapate in. There are many places where you can build a robot and challange other who have also made a robot. My experiances with robotics has been good, this year I have been doing lego mindstorm, and it has been fun. I aslo messed around at my old school with metal bot's that where on a larger scale, and much stronge. These are two of many kinds of diffrent things you can mess around with, have fun, or put to a practical use in robotics.
